Editor Atukwase, a Ugandan-born model and fashion stylist, founded Editor’s Beauty Skincare in San Francisco, CA, after struggling with skin issues caused by the drastic climate change when she moved to the U.S. in 2016. Experiencing severe dryness, acne, and darkening skin tone, she sought help from a dermatologist, leading her to discover the specific needs of her skin in this new environment. After finding a successful solution, she was inspired to create Editor’s Beauty Skincare, offering products that target acne, hyperpigmentation, dark spots, and dryness, especially for women with similar skin tones. Her mission is to empower everyone with different skin tones to embrace their natural beauty with glowing, healthy skin within 2-3 weeks.
